Surgeon Lemuel Gulliver wants to explore the world before his marriage to Elizabeth, despite her wishes to the contrary. He signs on to a ship to India, but in a storm he's washed off the ship and ends up on an island, which is inhibitated by very tiny people and soon he is used to help them battle the giants.
